Estimated Time: 20 - 25 Hours Over 10 - 12 Weeks
To provide administrative support to DEANZ projects in Auckland, focusing on two programs: Doughnut Hubs and Repair Cafes. These programs are directed towards achieving important environmental goals (composting/community gardens located at schools) and providing practical support (Repair Cafes) for people who are socially and economically disadvantaged. The position is an extremely important one, requiring the occupant to be a self-starter, well organised, and it will initially require someone who is comfortable working on their own, staffing the newly established DEANZ Office space in K Road, Newton (Auckland Central). The occupant must be able to apply for online grants funding, be comfortable working with databases, produce reports and use (or learn) the DEANZ Slack file sharing/communications system.

What We Have In Place
The tasks of the Aministrative Officer are presently distributed amongst four volunteer Project Managers. We have now received funding to pay a volunteer to work 3 days a week to unburden the Project Managers.
The position requires the successful applicant to work 20 hours/week.
We have established a DEANZ Office in K Road, which will be our physical shopfront in Auckland.
