HelpTank pilot - three great matches

HelpTank pilot - three great matches!

11 April 2017.

HelpTank ran a pilot between December 2016 and March 2017, matching 39 projects from organisations across New Zealand with skilled professionals ready to lend a hand.

Here’s a quick snapshot of just three of the 39 projects that made our day.

Sir Peter Blake Trust
The Sir Peter Blake Trust (Auckland) registered with HelpTank in order to find a Brand specialist with the skills and time to modernise their brand, as well as a strategist in Marketing who could develop a digital platform for their stories. Within three weeks, SPBT were matched with the Marketing team of Westpac not to complete just one project, but both of the projects!

Beeple Honey Collective
The Beeple Honey Collective (Wellington) came to HelpTank to find a professional who could build a Communications Strategy to generate greater awareness of their organisation around Wellington. The GM of Supply and Distribution who volunteered his time to complete this project told us "I want to work for Common Unity because the organiser is an inspiration - one of the most hard working and motivated women I have ever met". The project is completed and Common Unity Project are over the moon!

Refugee Council New Zealand
With an out of date website representing Refugee Council New Zealand, Tracey Barnett, who is on the board for RCNZ, felt that it was about time the website was transformed into a welcome space for people to feel inspired by the Organisation and the work that they do. Within just 4 days of registering to volunteer, Rohan was matched with the Refugee Council NZ and able to put his exceptional web development skills to good use! They now have a fully functioning website that serves as a go-to site for information, events, and contacts. Tracy was overjoyed with Rohan’s work and said he “was adept, professional, quick to respond, and just lovely to deal with” and she “can’t thank him—and Help Tank enough for helping us make it happen with the much needed expertise he was able to provide. A great initiative. Long may it prosper”
