We are looking to build a digital artefact using information collated during the first stages of the Happiness Experiment. Beginning with a 4 hour group hack / brainstorming session, the creative professionals will go on to put together text, audio, and visual materials into an artefact . This will honour the first Happiness Experiment community who have created it, built it, and been analysed within it. It will be then showcased on the Positive Peers webpage to encourage the next intake of participants.
Benefit of project to organisation
The digital artefact will be used as a visual means of communicating the nature and outcomes of the experiment, as well as acting as an induction into the Happiness Experiment for all future participants. This is to be showcased on the Happiness Experiment's website (another project). It matters because it gives back to the willing participants who put their emotions out there for a meaningful research project, and will offer them their happiness experience in digital form to pull out every now and then as a positive reminder. It will thereafter be used to showcase how others can get on board on the website and explain, in encouraging and simple terms, what the Happiness Experiment is about and why others should get involved. Ultimately offering a platform for the people of New Zealand to build on their happiness!
What we need
To begin, we will utilise the collective skills of creative thinkers in a 4-hour group hack. It would be ideal if the creative thinkers were either a communications expert, a coding expert, a graphic designer, or someone with experience in digital strategies too for the post-hack stage.
The hack will be designed to get ideas on what the digital artefact is and how it can be used to benefit the happiness of New Zealand's people.
Post-hack we will come together to develop the final product, which will be devised during the hack!
