Human rights and human resources policy development project

Human rights and human resources policy development project

Human rights and human resources policy development project
New Zealand Down Syndrome Association

Estimated Time: 8 - 16 Hours Over 1 - 3 Months

We would like the skills of a legal professional who has experience with Human Rights Policies, and would be happy to develop the policy that we currently have in place to make it more reader/user friendly to all those who access it.

Benefit of project to organisation

We have achieved many milestones and celebrated many achievements, but the lack of resources prevents us from supporting people with Down Syndrome to enjoy full participation in their community.

What we need

A legal professional with experience in Human Rights Policy. Hours to complete this project are estimates only and can be agreed / confirmed between volunteer and the organisation when a match is confirmed.

What would be nice to have

If you don't have the time to commit to revising and developing all of our HR policies, we would greatly appreciate your help developing the policies that you do have time for.

What we have in place

We have kindly received the help of 1 professional so far who has developed 1 policy document. We have core policies in place, but need to review these and add to them.
