Estimated Time: 20 - 25 Hours Over 1 - 2 Months
We’re looking for someone who has experience and passion for setting up high-yielding fundraiser events to help us with the planning and organising of one of our critical Plunket fundraising events. Our community services are volunteer run and funds are need for resources and day to day costs for those services. We also fundraise for initiatives to help our communities such as reduced cost swimming lessons, books for new families or winter parcels for families.

This will vary depending on the group, but in general the process will go:
Step one: Materials and information supplied to volunteer
The not for profit gives the volunteer relevant information about the organisation and past or upcoming events.
Likely time commitment for volunteer: three-four hours reading and reflecting
Step two: Brainstorming session
The not for profit and volunteer meet to discuss the fundraising goals, possible strategies, outcomes, event ideas, as well as the steps for the project.
Likely time commitment for volunteer: two hours preparing for meeting and two hours in meeting
Step three: Making a plan for the next steps
Likely time commitment for volunteer: 10-12 hours
Step four: Depending on how much time the volunteer can commit, they could potentially now start implementing the plan.

Step five: Feedback and evaluate
Likely time commitment for volunteer: one-two hours
What We Have In Place
We have Plunket people in place to support the event process at what ever level is required.
We have casual volunteers available to assist with each event
Event health and safety procedures are in place.
