Estimated Time: 20 - 22 Hours Over 3 - 4 Weeks

We are a community radio station run by an Incorporated Society, which has a Governance Council elected from our membership. The Council would like to have a strategy and governance workshop and develop a new 5- year strategic plan. Wellington Access Radio was the first Community Access Broadcaster in New Zealand, launching in April 1981. The station provides a media platform for diverse communities to have their voices, languages, beliefs and culture represented. It also broadcasts in-house drive shows filled with topical interviews, and plays NZ music. Content is available by radio broadcast, live stream, and podcasts. In April 2017 the station ceased to broadcast on the frequency 783AM, and began broadcasting on 106.1FM. As part of this change we have updated branding, and aim to establish satellite studios in the Hutt Valley and Porirua. We would like a volunteer to assist in creating a strategic plan to guide us through the next 5 years.
