Garden to Table
Estimated Time: 8 - 11 Hours Over 1 - 3 Weeks
Garden to Table is looking for help designing and managing files, groups and systems in Microsoft Office 365. With the growth of our team, spread thoughout NZ, it has become urgent to reorganise the files and systems we have on Sharepoint and make the information readily available to our staff working in the field. Much of the material is already loaded on to 365 it just needs to be reorganised and we are aware that we are not using the system correctly and are under-utilising what is on offer. It would make a huge difference to are operations to be utilising our systems more productively. We would be pleased to welcome one or more volunteer who would like to work together.
Working location
Our office is in Parnell, Auckland. Our staff usually work school hours but are flexible to fit in with a volunteer's availability.
Proposed project steps with time estimates
1. Meeting with staff to see what is in place and to scope out the needs (1-2 hours)
2 Design system (4 hours)
3 Feedback to staff and fine tune system (2 hours)
4 Final presentation of new systems (1-2 hour)
What We Have In Place
Office 365 is on all staff's computers. Used by 10 staff currently.

We get kids to eat more veges. By choice! The Garden to Table programme is changing the way children approach and think about food. All around the country, we want to see children enthusiastically getting their hands dirty and learning how to grow, harvest, prepare and share fresh, seasonal food.
Established in 2008, Garden to Table now works with thousands of primary-school-aged children all across New Zealand, helping them discover a love for fresh food and skills that will last a lifetime. The programme is curriculum-integrated and provides real-world learning opportunities, taking learning outside the classroom.
