We are looking for someone to help us develop a new user friendly website. We currently have an outdated website that is not user friendly at all. We have recently rebranded and would like create a new website. Our organisation works with migrants and newcomers helping them to settle into Whangarei. We provide support services and information, employment assistance, community events, English classes and a variety of workshops. We strive to create a community where everyone feels welcome and supported. Our organisation is mainly made up of volunteers and we would like the website to be user friendly so that when updates need to be made the volunteers are able to do so.
Working location
We are located in Whangarei but the work can be done from anywhere
Proposed project steps with time estimates
Meet to discuss our needs and ideas (1-2 hours)
Come up with a website strategy (2- 3 hours)
Sign off of strategy
Develop a basic website (7 to 9 hours)
Training on managing and updating the website page (2 hours)
We will be guided by the volunteer as to the steps involved and how much time a you can give.
What We Have In Place
We currently have an outdated website.
We have volunteers that would be able to enter the information onto the site once it is developed.
