Ōpāwa School
Estimated Time: 10 - 15 Hours Over 2 - 3 Weeks
We want a graphic designer to create/design a brochure/marketing information that highlights our sponsorship proposal for both large and small businesses, local businesses and individuals. We're a mid decile school in east Christchurch who are trying to get creative to support our children and their learning needs. We are very under resourced and are trying some innovative teaching and learning methods to empower, excite and engage all our learners to excel. We have amazing, capable and dedicated staff with strong leadership. Our community is supportive and very inclusive. We are making a difference, but we know we can make a bigger difference with more resourcing. We have a big history (of almost 150 years) and we will have a bigger future with help from like minded individuals and businesses.
Working location
Proposed project steps with time estimates
1. Make contact with Sally (Principal) to discuss what we want as an outcome - 2 hours
3. Share material / ideas that we already have and discuss - 2 - 3 hours
4. Volunteer drafts up a brochure or alike 3-4 hours
5. Discussion and editing of the brochure / other material - 2 hours
6. Second edit by volunteer - 1 hour
7. Discussion about this edited version - 1 hour
8. Final version completed - 1 hour
Happy to adjust timeframe/steps to suit how the volunteer availability or process.
What We Have In Place
We have some promotional photos, content and information already prepared to go in the brochure.
We have a small group of our community who can support this project by proof reading, adding additional content, supplying promotional photos.
We are prepared to pay for the final material to be printed professionally.
