Upto? is in its start up phase and has an ambitious mission to help youth across New Zealand. So that our message and idea is delivered effectively we need help from a volunteer experienced in marketing strategy to develop our first marketing strategy and plan. We need help in outlining our marketing goals, target audiences and review our current strategies as well as identifying metrics so we can measure success. Experience in digital marketing would be ideal. If you think you can help in any way please apply and be part of our exciting project!

Proposed project steps with time estimates

Briefing and pass on relevant information to the volunteer

3-4 hours reading and reflecting

Step two: Brainstorming session

Discuss the marketing goals, target audiences and possible strategies, as well as the steps for the project.

2-3 hours

Step three: Completing marketing strategy

Draft the marketing strategy and shares the information with the organisation. Review and edits to draft

10-12 hours

Step four: Feedback and finalising

Volunteer incorporates the feedback from the UPTO? and updates the strategy, and delivers this to UPTO?

2 hours

What We Have In Place

We have a basic strategy but because the content for the platform is being crowd sourced by our followers we need to have a strong marketing strategy developed by an experienced marketer.

In validation 97% of respondents said they would use UPTO? so as long as people know about it it will be successful. Also supporting youth in New Zealand by simply following the social media channels, creating a video or listing their business, community group or organisation in the directory will all have an impact on the success of UPTO?
