Estimated Time: 30 - 40 Hours Over 4 - 4 Months
I am looking for someone to help plan a charity ball fundraiser for Purple May. I have lupus which is an autoimmune disease that currently has no cure, and the Lupus Foundation of America are researching a cure and I would like to support by raising funds and awareness through this event. I am looking for someone to partner with me who ideally would have skills in the areas of marketing, event planning and be able to support with the practical tasks. Some technical expertise would be useful as I am planning to skype in people from overseas for them to be able to share their stories.

Proposed project steps with time estimates
Estimate it will be around 2-4 hours per week for the prep (less at times), and then more at the time of the event and the event itself (16th May).
Anticipated tasks:
Marketing - via social media and distribution of physical posters / brochures around Wellington - initial promotion in Feb with follow up until the event
Making decorations - e.g. bunting, 'purple carpet' for entrance - flexible, during the lead-up to the event
Planning the night agenda and confirming details - ongoing
Admin - ticket sales and communication - ongoing
Helping on the night - set up and ushering - lead up and on the night of Saturday 16th May
