Estimated Time: 8 - 16 Hours Over

We run an initiative supporting people who have been bereaved through a sudden death and providing information to people who are caring for those who have been suddenly bereaved. One of our websites is built in Joomla using an old template which is now out of date. We urgently need to build a new website, preferably in Wordpress, to house this information. We are looking for something very simple, to house information, advice and resources for anyone who has been suddenly bereaved, or for anyone who cares for someone who has been suddenly bereaved, be that professional support workers, friends or family members. Content would be videos, infographics, and straightforward text pages. Text is already written and on the existing site so would just be transferred across. We would also want to embed a service such as Donorbox to enable donations via Stripe. In addition to this project, we may have future paid web design/support opportunities available in relation to our other websites.

Mission
Brake works to prevent road deaths and injuries and make communities safer. We also provide free support to families bereaved and injured in road crashes, helping them to work through their grief to recover from trauma.
What we Do
Brake runs initiatives to raise awareness of road safety issues and advocate for safer roads. This includes coordinating national Road Safety Week, supporting companies to reduce incidents involving at-work drivers and vehicles, providing free resources to teachers to help them to teach road safety, and supporting communities to campaign for safer roads. Brake provides free support resources for adults and children who have been bereaved and injured in road crashes.
