Education for Sustainability Researcher needed! The Nelson Environment Centre has an exciting volunteer opportunity for an experienced Education for Sustainability Research who is passionate about the environment and sustainability issues. The Researcher will lead the work into the planning and development of education programmes for the Nelson community. Education is key to empowering our community on its journey to a truly sustainable Nelson Tasman.

Working location

Nelson but some work can be completed at home. This opportunity requires the person to live in the Nelson area.

Proposed project steps with time estimates

The project will include researching what is currently available, what the community needs are and where the gaps are. The hours and the nature of the role will be adaptable to the people involved but may require 15-20 hours per week for one to two months.
