HelpTank Q&A - Sir Peter Blake Trust
What are people saying about HelpTank?
Recently, we spoke with Sally Paterson, Media and Communications Manager of Sir Peter Blake Trust, who was part of the HelpTank pilot.
Q: What made you decide to utilise HelpTank?
A: The concept is brilliantly simple, connecting not-for-profits with volunteers who want to give back by donating their specialist advice. Working in a not-for-profit often means budgets are always priortised towards our programmes so being able to have access to expert advice is really valuable to us.
Q: What benefit(s) have you/your organisation gained from using HelpTank?
A: We asked for advice on digital marketing/social media and were partnered with Angela Fagan and her marketing colleagues at Westpac, Zac Culpan and Ashlea Lynch. While the Sir Peter Blake Trust is already active on social media, we wanted a peer review to help us refine our social media practice. We’re still working through the process but we’re already putting some of our learnings into practice.
Q: If other people/organisations are interested in HelpTank, what would you tell them?
A: For us it’s been a great way to access specialist advice and create a new relationship with a group of fantastic people who want to ‘give back’.
Q: Will you continue to utilise HelpTank's services?
A: Yes, we’d love to keep using Help Tank’s service. The website was easy to navigate.
Thank you to Sir Peter Blake Trust and Westpac, for partnering together to make a difference!
