We are looking to grow awareness of Take My Hands in NZ and in the Pacific. In New Zealand we're wanting to grow awareness with potential partners, government, and those interested in payroll giving (we are part of One Percent Collective and want to increase the number of donors we have). In the Pacific we want to grow awareness of what we are doing with a view of growing partnerships in the government and business sectors. We're looking for someone to help us with our marketing and communications strategy to help us achieve our strategic focus and objectives. Ideally we would really benefit from a volunteer who has experience developing marketing strategies, brand management or related fields

Proposed project steps with time estimates
1 - An initial meeting to cover what Take My Hands are currently doing, and what the plans for the future are and therefore what our needs are. (1-2 hours)
2 - We can also supply written information about the organisation for reading and research. (2-3 hours reading)
3 - Brainstorming session
Discuss the marketing goals, target audiences and possible strategies, as well as the steps for the organisation. This would include identifying what comms/marketing tools and resources we have now and what we need to 'get' / 'develop'/ 'source' (2-3 hours including some preparation)
4 - Work with our Managing Trustee to create a draft Comms/Marketing Strategy.
This may involve the strategy in a number of draft formats. (10-12 hours)
3 - Presenting of final draft and final feedback (1-2 hours)
What We Have In Place
We will have a strategic plan which outlines more clearly our strategic objectives and focus of what we are doing and want to do in the future.
We are developing an outcomes framework/impact model which will help tell 'some' of the story about the work we are doing - or at least contribute into it.
Our Managing Trustee is increasingly being asked for speak at conferences/events etc - so we want to maximise the opportunity they give.
Its our 5 year anniversary this year and we have an arts project that we are going to use to build interest and awareness and raise funds for the trust ... aimed at our current partners and their staff but open to growing that.
