Estimated Time: 12 - 20 Hours Over 3 - 6 Weeks

We need an enthusiastic, clear communicator with experience in copy writing or organisational communication who would enjoy working alongside young people to take our ideas and shape them into a clear, non jargon, no waffle and focused Vision, Mission and Values Statement. We see this involving: -Reviewing our current mission, vision and/or values ideas, checking out our existing programmes and current and future plans -Working with our Director and young people about their goals with the new strategic statements -Draft new mission, vision & values and seek feedback on them -Revise and provide the updated statements

We are happy to collaborate with anyone wherever you might be in NZ using a range of interactive tech and communication.

Proposed project steps with time estimates

Step one: Amazing Volunteer will check over our Docs and Brand Doc

This will include our DRAFT Mission and Vision statements (which we have hit a wall regarding), checking out our website, looking at feedback from our young people about our purpose and direction, our website, social media presence and key messages.

Likely time commitment for volunteer: two-three hours reading and reflecting

Step two: Briefing and Discussion with Amazing Volunteer

We will set up a group chat or call to provide background and context and give you the chance to ask any questions and test out some initial ideas.

Likely time commitment for volunteer: two hours in preparation and meeting

Step three: Draft documents prepared

The amazing volunteer works with us to draft the statements and documents

Likely time commitment for volunteer: Three-four hours

Step four: Feedback and then Revisions

Amazing volunteer incorporates the feedback and updates the statements and documents, shares these back with our team giving an unbiased and impartial reflection on how to make these really sing

Likely time commitment for volunteer: two hours incorporating feedback and one hour meeting with us.
