Estimated Time: 1 - 3 Hours Over 1 - 2 Days
We are looking for a native speaker of Cantonese to help us creating an audio self guide for our museum. We have already got a transcript for the audio guide, and this has been translated by professional translators into Cantonese. We have already had multiple other languages completed. We just need someone who speaks Cantonese to read the script whilst being recorded, and we cannot find anyone locally. The recording could be done in a very quiet room using a good quality smartphone, or we could look at booking a recording studio space where the volunteer is located. This will enable us to launch our multiple language audio guides project, and help us be more welcoming to international visitors.

Proposed project steps with time estimates
Would involve reading the Cantonese transcript (I will email to you) to become familiar with it (maybe 2 hours work). Then sitting in a quiet room, read out aloud each page of the transcript, recording each page as a separate file on your smartphone (maybe take an hour in total). Then upload each of the tracks to Dropbox - or some other file sharing program so I can download them and put them on our audio device.
