Estimated Time: 2 - 7 Hours Over 1 - 21 Days

We need groups of volunteers to do the wrapping and spread some Christmas cheer! If you can organize your work colleagues, or a bunch of family and friends to take on a few shifts or days of gift wrapping between the 3rd of December and Christmas it would help us hugely! Bring your Christmas cheer and spirit of fun! Dementia Auckland supports people living with dementia, and their carers and families, in the greater Auckland region with free specialised services to help them to make the most of each day. You can apply individually or as a team! If applying as a team, please choose a "team leader," or point person, to apply for this project on behalf of the whole group. Proposed project steps with time estimates

We are flexible about whether you want volunteer for a few hours, do a day or a half day shift or a few days!

Training can be provided if needed, and it will be a fantastic way to spend time with colleagues or loved ones doing some good. It only needs to be for a couple of hours each – but the impact will be huge!

What We Have In Place

We will have everything you need for the day and staff support! You will be provided with

- Name tags and Dementia Auckland vests
- A staff room
- All equipment with be provided for wrapping
- FB community page to chat with fellow volunteers
- Support from myself and your supervisor
- All information will be provided to you with regards to parking etc
