Estimated Time: 6 - 18 Hours Over 2 - 6 Months
We have been working with two schools in Auckland since June 2019 - Epsom Normal Primary School and Remuera Intermediate School. Our nature photography workshops have enhanced students' mental wellbeing, given them the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature through their own photographs, and provided them an avenue to be creative in thought and expression. Their work has been published in form of books that are available in the school libraries. Our workshops are on hold due to the Covid-19 lockdown and we plan to restart them when schools reopen. During this lockdown, we have created a new magazine called Compassionate Nature to further our charity's mission and are creating other initiatives that can be beneficial during this difficult period. We need help creating and managing our social media presence as we haven't yet found the time or skills to do this ourselves.

Mission
IMAgEN8's purpose is to foster sustainable connections with New Zealand's natural environment in our diverse communities through education, photography and technology.
What we Do
We run nature photography workshops on school grounds and nature reserves that connect students with Nature, enhance their wellbeing and foster environmental stewardship through creative expression. We publish books and a digital magazine, Compassionate Nature, with contributions from students and our community.
Our mahi deepens students' connection with nature, increases awareness and support for important conservation and climate action goals, and improves mental wellbeing through mindful nature photography. We believe that by forming deep connections to our natural environment, we are happier, more compassionate, conserve what we love, and live sustainably.
