Estimated Time: 6 - 7 Hours Over 1 - 6 Months

We are looking for volunteer advisors or mentors to assist us in the development of a school environmental education project. If you have experience in any of the following; education, environmental education, building partnerships, developing a business case, working with schools and teachers, or mental wellbeing we would love to hear from you. We are planning to pilot a nature-based holistic learning program in a primary school in Auckland. Children will experience science, conservation, sustainability, mental wellbeing, art and photography activities in a local 'walk-to' reserve, beach or park during school hours. REEfS, Responsible Environmental Education for Sustainability, is a new initiative which will bring nature-based learning to more school-going children in New Zealand. We believe that by forming deep connections to our natural environment, we are happier, more compassionate, conserve what we love, and live sustainably.
