Estimated Time: 7 - 10 Hours Over 1 - 6 Months

We are looking for help to develop a business case for our environmental education programs called REEfS (Responsible Environmental Education for Sustainability). Our goal is to deepen connection with nature, increase awareness and support for important conservation and climate action goals and improve mental wellbeing through mindful nature photography and environmental education. Through REEfS, we will create increased awareness of local ecology and participation in pest and invasive species control, higher mental wellbeing, and inspiring storytelling and imagery. We'll partner with experts from other fields (ecology, mindfulness, science, art…) to enrich the nature experiences. We would appreciate help from a volunteer who could develop our business case with the purpose of seeking funding. We would also be interested if you could help or contribute to our funding strategy.

Mission
IMAgEN8's purpose is to foster sustainable connections with New Zealand's natural environment in our diverse communities through education, photography and technology.
What we Do
We run nature photography workshops on school grounds and nature reserves that connect students with Nature, enhance their wellbeing and foster environmental stewardship through creative expression. We publish books and a digital magazine, Compassionate Nature, with contributions from students and our community. Our mahi deepens students' connection with nature, increases awareness and support for important conservation and climate action goals, and improves mental wellbeing through mindful nature photography. We believe that by forming deep connections to our natural environment, we are happier, more compassionate, conserve what we love, and live sustainably.
