*No more applications please* We are seeking the help of a volunteer with a creative business mind who can assimilate a lot of information, make sense of it, identify the short & long term goals in a collaborative fashion and develop a fluid business strategy to include marketing initiatives to achieve those goals..

identifying short and long term goals and development of innovative strategies to achieve those goals
Skills in analyzing existing strategies & practices and identify areas for improvement
Estimated time required:
A project of this scope could be expected to take the volunteer 20-25 hours over a 1-2 month period
Example of project steps with time estimates:
Step 1: The Collective gives the volunteers relevant information according to their requirements for assessment.
Likely time commitment for volunteer: 3-4 hours reading and reflecting
Step 2: Meeting of both parties to answer questions the volunteer may have, provide the volunteer with a more in-depth understanding of the business and direction, target audience, current and possible strategies, current position, next steps for the project.
Likely time commitment for volunteer: 6 hours (1 hour preparation for meeting, 2 hours in meeting, 3 hours reflecting and researching ideas for a draft strategic plan)
Step 3: Meeting to discuss ideas for draft strategic plan. Collaboration between The Collective and volunteer to make any changes.
Likely time commitment for volunteer: 2 hours for meeting and 3 hours to draft strategic plan.
Step 4: Meeting to present draft strategic plan. Final changes.
Likely time commitment for volunteer: 1 hour for meeting and 2 hours to complete final business strategy.
Step 5:
Final meeting. Volunteer to present completed business strategy.
Likely time commitment for volunteer: 1 hour for meeting
