The Period Place

Estimated Time: 5 - 10 Hours Over

We need a radical, bold, big-thinking social media content creator/coordinator who can jump in right now and join the global conversation on Covid, through the period lens.

Proposed project steps with time estimates

We're after someone who can:
- create bloody engaging content with Canva, Adobe or similar
- schedule the content for us on Later (or a platform you think is kick-ass if you can convince us otherwise)
- Jump in on social conversations on platforms on behalf of The Period Place (we share the community management between the two cofounders currently)
- whip up conversations and engagement online, get people donating to our Givealittle and supporting the other mahi we do

Our three pillars: Conversation, Education and Access, are more relevant now than ever. Periods don't stop in a pandemic, not for frontline workers, nor for the growing list of vulnerable.

Our brand is going through a refresh, and while the branding is more grown up, it's important that our brand is still seen as radical, bold, fun, strong, understanding, with an activist angle through a period lens.

We're looking for support through this new Covid life, as we move our support to more smaller projects, and will take as many hours as you can give us.

What We Have In Place

Our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts are all active, but keeping content on them regularly is too hard with everything we have on our plate right now, and we need someone to some on and kick some serious social ass.

We need someone who can come in and take over, tell us what they need from us to make it work, then get stuck in!

*We're also looking for volunteers to fundraise for us, source and apply for grants. See our other volunteer listings to support us.
