Graphic designer needed for bereavement resources!
Brake, the road safety charity

Estimated Time: 3 - 5 Hours Over 1 - 5 Days

We're a road safety charity working to prevent road deaths and injuries and to provide free support to families bereaved in road crashes. We provide free support resources to bereaved families and are looking for a graphic designer to help design one of these for adults bereaved in road crashes, ready for printing. Our resources help bereaved people to navigate the days and weeks following the death of a loved one on the road, including some of the practical issues they may face and the emotions and reactions they may experience. This is a one-off project, however we do have other resources that need designing from time to time, should you be interested in other projects in future.

Working location

Flexible location as we can connect remotely. Contact during normal office hours would be ideal, however we can be flexible on this too.

Proposed project steps with time estimates

1. Design of resource (approx. 8 sides of A4) - 4 hours
2. Design sent to Brake for approval. Brake sends any final amends/edits.
3. Final amends/edits to design - 1 hour

What We Have In Place

We have the content of the resource ready, it just needs designing up ready to print.

What we Do
Brake runs initiatives to raise awareness of road safety issues and advocate for safer roads. This includes coordinating national Road Safety Week, supporting companies to reduce incidents involving at-work drivers and vehicles, providing free resources to teachers to help them to teach road safety, and supporting communities to campaign for safer roads. Brake provides free support resources for adults and children who have been bereaved and injured in road crashes.
