We need Administrator whizz’s who’s passionate of Te Reo Maori and have an understanding of New Zealand’s Native culture to support our trust. Someone who has amazing organisation skills and communication skills to help our trust. Requirements: - Lived in NZ for at least 3 years - Understanding of NZ Maori culture (Awesome if your familiar with Te Reo) -The Wai 262 claim was a Waitangi Tribunal claim lodged in 1991. It was called the ‘Wai 262’ claim as it was the 262nd claim lodged in the Waitangi Tribunal. It was also known as the ‘flora and fauna’ claim. -The claim was one of the largest and most complex in the Waitangi Tribunal’s history. It was the Waitangi Tribunal’s first ‘whole-of-government’ inquiry – examining the policy areas of more than 20 government departments and agencies.

Working location

Flexible- Can be remote or Hokianga, Northland

- The remote Administration role is ongoing however this can be discussed further.


What We Have In Place

- Documentation to refer to.
- Website currently under construction.
- The tasks of the Administer will be distributed amongst three volunteers balance out workload.

The Trust aims to help with issues surrounding climate change, environmental aspects of NZ government policies, international involvement, historical and contemporary flora and fauna claims in NZ such as Wai 262 claim which is the largest Māori claim in NZ and well known internationally.

We are involved both nationally and internationally due to the broad spectrum level of this claim across all Crown Ministries in NZ.
