Hornby Community Patrols Inc

Estimated Time: 3 - 5 Hours Over 1 - 3 Months

We patrol the greater Hornby area in Christchurch to promote a safer community. Patrolling in areas where there has been antisocial behaviour such Graffiti, Illegal dumping, Parties etc. We also promote Crime prevention (both residential and business) properties with garage door, windows, and gates left open especially in high burglary areas. We Patrol car parks in some major events too. . We are also the eyes and ears for the Police and assist them when requested. At present we log all our patrol reports using an iPad and an Excel spreadsheet which can be time consuming and delays us with our patrolling. We now want to make it easier and quicker for our member’s complete reports. By doing this they would spend more time patrolling and less writing which means we can cover a great amount of area. We do have a concept in mind. What we would love is some kind IT guru, to advise us what the best opinions for us to report, e.g. an App, mobile website or any other option. We would like so
