Help us access funding as a Grants Officer
The Nest Collective NZ Charitable Trust

Estimated Time: 15 - 20 Hours Over 6 - 8 Months

We are a national organisation that has six branches. We are looking for a grants officer with experience in seeking out grants, applying for them and completing the accountability reports. You will work with the national manager to offer support to the branches to get grants and get some funding rolling into the organisation. This would be an ongoing role, the hours would be dependent on what you can give and how many grants we can find to apply for. This would be a huge help to our organisation!

Working location

This can be anywhere - the national manager is based in Wellington but very happy to work with you remotely

Proposed project steps with time estimates

Chat with the national manager (30 minutes)
Research grants available to apply for (2 hours)
Apply for grants once managers agree on which ones are best for the organisation (5 hours)
Accountability reports (unknown - 5/10 hours)

What We Have In Place

We have applied for a few grants so have some base information that you can work from. We also have a new website and a Facebook/Instagram page - that you can pull information from.

We are very keen to work together with you to complete this task and to hopefully form an ongoing relationship.

What we Do
The Nest Collective is a registered charity that gives baby and children’s essentials to families in need. We are a collective of volunteers across Aotearoa who work alongside social workers and community based organizations to ensure whānau and their pēpē are supported in their parenting journey. We provide packs of essentials including clothing, bedding, toys, books, toiletries, safety items and more. Our vision is that all New Zealand babies have the best start in life to enable them to flourish and thrive.
