Estimated Time: 4 - 4 Hours Over
SVA is recruiting volunteers to assist with vaccine rollout in Canterbury. These shifts provide much-needed support for the vaccination clinics which improves the rate of vaccination. Currently, we are supporting clinics to administer boosters and second boosters for vulnerable populations. Each shift is 2-4 hours long and involves directing traffic and providing additional support as required.

Now is your chance to help out with New Zealand’s historic COVID-19 vaccination programme by volunteering to support the vaccine rollout.
As a ‘front of house’ volunteer, you will support front-line workers to get a break and help to roll out the vaccinations quicker. There is a range of tasks to be helped with, for example, chatting with people after they have had the vaccine, helping people find their way, parking coordination at mass-vaccination sites, and helping share the publicly available information on the vaccine.
Please contact coordination@sva.org.nz or call 0800 005 902 if you wish to book a corporate group of volunteers.

Volunteering is easy:

Complete the online training, which will be emailed to you after signup.
Turn up to your shift (Please note that pulling out at the last minute will leave others volunteers in the lurch.)
Share the opportunity with others – by helping us recruit your friends to volunteer.
