Estimated Time: 5 - 8 Hours Over 2 - 3 Weeks

Our biggest challenge (and opportunity!) is to raise awareness of our service with holiday homeowners so they can consider donating a stay, and with terminally ill recipients so they can consider applying for a stay. It is such a difficult time to request donations and funding from businesses, however TimeOut charity are so lucky we can keep growing if we can find ways to spread the word. This project is to create an elevator pitch that we can send to organisations, asking them to support TimeOut in a really significant and meaningful way (that doesn't involve $) and raising awareness of TimeOut (internally via staff or externally via customers) reaching holiday homeowners and terminally ill recipients. Such a great way to support community at no cost, encourage staff to give back (donate holiday homes) and support staff who have friends/family dealing with terminal diagnosis.

Mission
Our Purpose is to promote and facilitate the provision of holiday accommodation to the terminally ill and their families. Our Mission is to provide those diagnosed with terminal illness a free TimeOut experience so they can create lasting memories with loved ones.
What we Do
TimeOut is a NZ not-for-profit charity, connecting generous holiday home owners all around the country who are willing to donate a stay in their property to a person diagnosed with a terminal illness, so that they can spend quality time together & make special memories with family & friends. Every year, more than 24,000 people and their families experience terminal illness in NZ. Beyond the immense grief and emotional toll these illnesses take on all they affect, they also impact our most precious resource; time. By gifting experiences away from home, we provide families with much-needed moments of relief, shared experiences and the opportunity to take a break from it all, spending time together. With over 50,000 holiday homes in New Zealand, we're on a mission to get kiwi donors on-board, so we can all lend a hand to those who need it
