Tiaki Taonga Trust- Wai 262 Flora and fauna
Estimated Time: 3 - 5 Hours Over 8 - 12 Weeks
We need someone who is passionate about Aotearoa and is familiar with Maori culture and traditions to help our trust with some legal advice! You will need to have some basic understanding of Te Reo Maori but not a prerequisite and to be happy to work the hours and weeks as recorded.

Proposed project steps with time estimates
Zoom meeting will be setup for;
1. Introduction of both parties.
3. Introduce the nature of business of the Trust.
4. Have been a legal advisor in NZ now and have lived in NZ for more than 3 years.
5. Familiar with Maori culture and traditions.
6. Have some basic understanding of Te Reo Maori but not a prerequisite.
7. Happy to work the hours and weeks as recorded.

The Trust aims to help with issues surrounding climate change, environmental aspects of NZ government policies, international involvement, historical and contemporary flora and fauna claims in NZ such as Wai 262 claim which is the largest Māori claim in NZ and well known internationally.
What we Do
We are involved both nationally and internationally due to the broad spectrum level of this claim across all Crown Ministries in NZ.
