We're hoping for someone to help us out with funding applications for our small but busy nature play charity. Our director currently does the nature play work, the admin, the funding etc and we could use help from someone who is experienced in applying for funding for charities. If you're experienced in gaining donors too, that is a goal for us as another funding stream. This would make a big difference to the children and families we work with, as funding has become more competitive and time consuming than ever and we know there are people out there who thrive on this! All of our programmes require funding, as most are either fee free or have families on scholarships.
Working location
Remote online ok, if wellington based we could meet occasionally. Hours flexible.
Proposed project steps with time estimates
-Looking over and getting an understanding of our programmes
-Understanding our budget and funding requirements
-Looking over and understanding our past funding applications and funders
-Applying to and achieving awesome funding for our programmes
-Setting up a system for donors and getting us donors (if possible)
What We Have In Place
We have relationships and accounts with a number of funders already. We have many past applications that can be used as templates. We are a registered charity of 5+ years. We have amazing programmes and Äkonga and awesome photos to be used.
