Hospice Wairarapa is seeking volunteers to help us launch an online fundraising campaign. Our goal is to raise funds to purchase essential equipment for individuals with life-limiting illnesses, allowing them to remain comfortable at home. This equipment is crucial for the palliative care services we provide across the Wairarapa region. As this is our first time organising online donations, we are looking for volunteers with experience in online fundraising, marketing, and campaign management to ensure a successful campaign. Your support will directly impact the quality of life for those in our care

Remote or Masterton.

Proposed project steps with time estimates

Planning and Strategy Development (3 days):

Define goals, target audience, and strategy.
Campaign Setup (2 days):

Create online donation page and promotional materials.
Content Creation (4 days):

Write stories, produce videos/images.
Promotion and Outreach (10 days):

Launch campaign, promote on social media and email.
Monitoring and Engagement (8 days):

Update donors, respond to inquiries, adjust strategies.
Campaign Conclusion and Thank You (2 days):

Announce results, thank donors, highlight impact.

What we Do
Hospice Wairarapa is a wrap-around service of care that supports people who have a life limiting illness, as well as their whānau and carers. We offer this service in Wairarapa for free. Our friendly, dedicated team are committed to supporting those in our care in whatever way is important to them. The support we provide is tailored to individual needs and physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual factors are taken into account to help optimise the quality of life for our clients.
