Estimated Time: 10 - 20 Hours Over 8 - 24 Months
We are looking for a special person with a passion for the natural environment and experience as a software developer - with ArcGIS OnLine skills or the ability to quickly come up to speed. EcoNet (a charitable trust - www.econet.nz) is developing the innovative CAMS, a software product which is a game changer for community conservation groups, iwi, hapu and individual volunteers. It is integrating a market leading CRM system with the world class ArcGIS system. We launched our pilot system in late 2021 and are now rolling out CAMS to a wider range of groups and individuals. The CAMS Weeds eTool won the 2024 MPI Biosecurity Innovation Award. This is an opportunity for you to be part of the next phases of an exciting project that will dramatically improve the efforts of Aotearoa’s community groups in restoring our natural heritage by controlling pest plants, eradicating predators, restoring our waterways and expanding the population of native birds, trees and other taonga species.
