We’re looking for a friendly and confident individual who enjoys speaking on the phone to help with volunteer interviews, referee checks and exit interviews for our volunteers. Your work will be vital in ensuring we bring on the best volunteers. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact from the comfort of your home and also build experience in administration and communication. Join us in empowering others through literacy!

Proposed project steps with time estimates
In this role, you’ll conduct referee checks on new volunteers, interview new potential Literacy coaches and perform exit interviews, then report your findings back to our Volunteer Coordinator. Your contribution will play a key part in maintaining the quality of our team and gathering important insights from outgoing volunteers.
Additionally, if you're interested, you can also join our outbound contact centre team, making calls to various organizations to spread the word about our services. All calls are made using our free internet app (VOIP) from your home computer or mobile phone, with no cost to you.
What We Have In Place
We’ll provide you with all the tools you need, including a call script, training, and ongoing support from our Community Support Coordinator. A computer and internet access are required to enter your comments into a spreadsheet, but we’ll take care of the rest.
