Estimated Time: 2 - 4 Hours Over 1 - 3 Days
We are a new community studio/peace gallery in the heart of Wellington. Our mission is to illuminate steadfast efforts for a culture of humanistic peace. We are in collaboration with the iconic Thistle Hall Gallery to bring a children's art exhibition to Cuba Street in Wellington. During the first week of the October school holidays (Tue 1 - Sun 6 Oct), we're looking for volunteers to be hosts for the exhibition at Thistle Hall Gallery. Volunteers will greet visitors and help guide them through the exhibition. Anyone is welcome to volunteer and we provide training. No experience necessary. Shifts are at least two hours and you can sign up with friends or family. If you're under 18, you'll just need to have a supervisor with you. We'll make sure to give everyone an induction before you start. Timings are: Tuesday and Thursday 11-3 Wednesday 11-6 Saturday and Sunday 12-3 Please get in touch with us at gallery@sginz.org if you're interested.
