Would you like to support intersectional feminism in Aotearoa? Do you have basic finance or accounting experience? Are you available to proactively engage 10 hours per month? Then we would love to hear from you! The Auckland Women’s Centre Board is looking to co-opt a new member with some financial experience to ensure a good all-round balance of skills in the group. Governance Board members are volunteers who oversee the vision, policy, strategy and financial sustainability of the organisation. You do not need to already have board experience to join us, but we’re keen to include someone who will be a proactive team member. We are looking for a woman or non-binary person who: has an intersectional feminist analysis, understands Te Tiriti o Waitangi and has some experience working or volunteering in community groups. If you have existing skills in accounting, budget management and assisting with monthly accounts, this is a great opportunity for you.
