Surrogate Grandparents New Zealand Charitable Trust's (CC54933) aim is to connect families with surrogate grandparents in order to forge lasting friendships and family bonds. We are looking for a web developer/Database integration guru who can help our Charitable Trust to streamline our membership. We have a beautiful website designed in Squarespace and we would like to develop this to enable our members to find their own "matches". Essentially we are looking for a separate membership area to be designed and developed so that our members can have their own logins to produce their own profiles on the site (Think of an online dating site but for families & surrogate grandparents). This will take away the hours and hours of administration time it takes for us to manually connect families & Grandparents according to their locations and interests.

Working location

Work can be done from anywhere, but if you are based in Auckland that would be ideal as we would love to meet with you to discuss what we are after in more detail.

Proposed project steps with time estimates

*Introduction and overview 1-1.5 hours
*Research best options for being able to have a membership login on the site - do we need to purchase additional software? - 3-4 hours research
* Produce a project outline and design for how the membership area will look, for approval - 8 hours over 1-2 weeks
* Design & create the membership area - 20 hours over 3-4 weeks
* User Testing - 8-10 hours over 1 week
* Launch (would like to launch by the end of July if possible)

Time scales are estimates only. We are happy to agree to revised plan or timescales as agreed.
