We are in immediate need of expert Wordpress developer eyes to check & maintain the pcds.co.nz website and its current plugins. The primary focus is to fix technical issues and recommend any upgrade or cleanup needed. Knowledge of API, Plesk and web hosting would be an advantage. We run a community driving school in Auckland through our Drive One, Give One programme helping young learner, new migrants and resettled communities access supportive and culturally-appropriate driver training to become a confident NZ driver. Our instructors and mentors rely on our booking system to manage their ever-changing appointments to juggle our +150 in our subsidised waitlist.

Proposed project steps with time estimates
1. Check the plugins (versions and API) and authorisations are in order and communicating with each other
2. Demo & collaborate with staff with website admin or editor rights on safety and maintenance protocols.
3. Recommend on payment and donation integration, site upgrades or cleanups
What We Have In Place

Building a sustainable, community-based option for training drivers in Puketapapa, Auckland via enhanced collaboration across communities to promote safer NZ roads. We are a social enterprise providing premium driver training services accessible for young people, refugees, migrants and whanau.
What we Do
Established to help multiply confident drivers in New Zealand roads, we in Puketapapa Community Driving School believe that by getting a driver licence, it will consequently improve education, training and employment outcomes in communities. By choosing to be trained through Puketāpapa Community Driving School, we can offer the same services at a subsidised rate to those who face barriers gaining their licences. For every five paid driving sessions is worth one subsidised driving lesson of those who need immediate training and extended coaching.
