We need to develop a website to Mitigate Climate Change!

Estimated Time: 10 - 50 Weeks Over 6 - 12 Months
Blue Carbon Services is currently implementing a 3 year research project into seaweed (kelp) aquaculture. International research indicates off-shore kelp aquaculture may be more than 100 times more effective for carbon sequestration than terrestial forestry (see website under construction at www.bluecarbon.co.nz). For technical background see http://bluecarbon.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Seaweed-Carbon-Sequestration-off-the-Continental-Shelf-of-NZ.pdf We require support to develop a powerful and informative website and to build our fundraising capacity through either crowd-funding or corporate philanthropy. Initially this requires voluntary support but will become a paid position if we are able to raise sufficient funds.
Working location
Blue Carbon Services is based at Castlepoint but this work can be largely undertaken from home.
