Slow Food Auckland. Welcome to the table. We inspire individuals and communities to change the world through food that is good, clean and fair for all. Slow Food Auckland is a registered charity We are the local chapter of a global organisation that is committed to creating a fairer food system for all. Slow Food believes food is tied to many other aspects of life, including culture, politics, agriculture and the environment. Through our food choices we can collectively influence how food is cultivated, produced and distributed, and change the world as a result. And we have a delicious time doing it! The purpose of the project is twofold. • To align the existing Slow Food Auckland digital channels to create effective reach and therefore maximise the impact and engagement. (including a Slow Food Auckland URL) • To create new channels (dedicated website and Instagram account)

Working location

Flexible - would be great to have some face to face time but not essential - happy to work with our volunteers' schedule

What needs to be done.
Blog and Website
- Convert a blogger site to WordPress and change the name of the site from Slow Food Waitakere to Slow Food Auckland while retaining the history (http://slowfoodwaitakere.blogspot.co.nz/) First step asap
- Have the word press site be a website and not just a blog - a new simple website Need help to scope this and put a framework in place
Social Media -
- Merge the Slow Food Waitakere (named Slow Food Auckland) and the Slow Food Auckland immediate
- Facebook page – two different owners – we want to make sure we keep the history of SFW
- Link the Slow Food Waitakere group to the merged Facebook page immediate
- Set up Instagram account
